Around 10:00pm on Sunday night, a big rig truck plunged off NE Loop 820 at Iron Horse Blvd near North Richland Hills. The driver of the 18-wheeler was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital by helicopter. The freeway was shut down while debris was cleaned up and police investigated the crash.
