The sheriff of McLennan Country said Tuesday night that he is ‘glad to have this creep off the streets’. Chris Weiss, is accused of murdering his own one-year-old daughter on Sunday by shooting the child in the head while she was still strapped into her child-seat.

The sheriff’s office had Weiss under surveillance since shortly after the bodies of the baby and her mother were found near Tradinghouse Lake. Weiss is expected to be charged with double capital murder as early as tomorrow morning.
