Friday Vigil For Sherin Mathews Cancelled Because Of Bickering

There is something very wrong in the world today when a gathering to honor a murdered little girl must be cancelled because of bickering and conflicts among attendees and groups. Tonight, a vigil for Mathews’ was scheduled to take place in Richardson, but organizers were forced to cancel that event.

No reschedule date has been announced. Friday’s event was supposed to be a time when the community got together with one voice to remember the life of a 3-year-old little girl who was killed. Instead, some folks wanted to make this event all about themselves, so it had to be cancelled.
