Deplatforming FOX?

     Words fail me:

     Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives are demanding to know why Fox News did not publish a story prior to the 2016 election about an alleged affair years before between porn star Stormy Daniels and Donald Trump.

     House Committee on Oversight and Reform chair Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) wrote to former Fox News reporter Diana Falzone last month demanding that she turn over any documents relating to Trump’s alleged extramarital affairs.

     An article in the New Yorker last month alleged that Fox News executive Ken LaCorte spiked the story to protect Trump — a claim LaCorte has vehemently denied, saying the story lacked corroborating evidence and that the network was merely practicing responsible journalism, as were other outlets who declined the story.

     Anyone with three functioning brain cells already knew that Cummings is a shameless partisan whore unacquainted with truth and uninterested in justice, but this is a new low-water-mark even for him. Can you imagine the outrage from the Left were a Republican-controlled body to make a similar demand of CNN or MSNBC?

     There is no infamy to which Cummings will not stoop if it offers him a chance to silence an opponent or create a problem for a Republican. And the clincher is this: he’s not alone in his venality. Schiff, Swalwell, and others of the Democrat caucus are just as bad, though I can’t say any of them are worse.

     If Cummings isn’t ejected from office, there’s no justice in politics…and sad to say, owing to racially motivated district definition, he’ll be in Congress until he dies or retires. I hope to outlive him, as I plan to piss on his grave. He calls to mind Hilaire Belloc’s quatrain:

Here richly, with ridiculous display,
The Politician's corpse was laid away.
While all of his acquaintance sneered and slanged
I wept: for I had longed to see him hanged.
