Jay Simpson scored twice (71', 89') as the Philadelphia Union blanked visiting Sporting Kansas City 2-0.

Carson, California:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (PK-9'), Ola Kamara (40'), and Emmanuel Boateng (52') each scored once as the Los Angeles Galaxy whitewashed the visiting Seattle Sounders 3-0.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Matt Hedges scored the winning goal in minute #87 as FC Dallas knocked off the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1 on the road.
