Emil Forsberg scored the only goal of the match in the 66th minute as Sweden advanced to the quarterfinal round for the first time since 1994 by defeating Switzerland 1-0.

After a 1-1 regulation draw, followed by 30 minutes of scoreless overtime, Harry Kane (seen here, down on the pitch, surrounded by Colombian players) , Marcus Rashford, Kieran Trippier, and Eric Dier converted their spot kicks as England defeated Colombia 4-3 in the penalty-kick shootout to advance to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2006.
