In the opener, Ross Allen produced a hat trick (24', PK-31', 68') as Team Wellington dismantled Lupe o le Soaga 7-1, eliminating the Samoan club from the tournament.

In the nightcap, Joseph Athale's equalizer in the 11th minutes lifted AS Magenta of New Caledonia to a 1-1 draw with Marist.

Michael Boso scored for the club from the host nation in the fifth minute.
