That Didn’t Take Long

     As of 7:30 PM on 12/31/2017, I had attained a condition I’d sought for the whole of the year:

I’d cleared my “To Do” list.

     I was happy. I was proud. I was also pretty BLEEP!ing tired. But there it was: every box was checked. I could enter 2018 with nothing hanging over my head.

     That state of grace lasted for exactly one day.

     Please excuse me for the day, Gentle Reader. The list has mysteriously repopulated itself, and I’ve been pounding ‘em out nineteen to the dozen since 4:45 AM. I hope to be back tomorrow. Meanwhile, stay warm.
