Valarie Martinez & Infant Daughter Murdered At Texas Lake

It was a tough weekend in Texas after a DPS trooper lost his life on Saturday and then on Sunday the worst mass shooting in Texas occurred. Buried in all that bad news was one other crime that kind of got lost in the media coverage.

Around noon on Sunday, a citizen found the bodies of 24-year-old mother Valarie Martinez along with the body of her infant daughter named Azariah near Tradinghouse Lake in Central Texas. The baby was found shot, while still in her car-seat, while the mom was found murdered just feet away.

The McLennan County Sheriff’s office is investigation this savage crime. Additional details will be posted when they become available.
