Texas DPS Trooper Hit By Vehicle & Seriously Injured During I-35 Traffic Stop

A Department of Public safety trooper was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in Temple after being struck by a vehicle while making a traffic stop. According to police, several other people were injured as well, but additional details are not available at this time.

The injured state trooper was transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White hospital and is listed in serious condition. This all occurred on I-35 southbound not far from the DPS office in Temple. More details as they become available.
