Suspect Threw Gasoline On Police Officer During Traffic Stop

While trying to make a traffic stop, Hunt County Deputy Ritchie Valenzuela saw the driver throwing stuff out the window. During a conversation between the deputy and the driver, after the vehicle came to a stop, a full can of gasoline was thrown on the officer.

After a struggle, the suspect was taken into custody and upon further investigation it was discovered he was throwing narcotics out of the car before coming to a stop. Deputy Valenzuela was not injured in this altercation.
