Thought Adjuster: “Your focusing in the present moment is an excellent technique to clear the mind of unnecessary anxiety and concern. Often your mortal mind falls back to doubt and to being a victim of the bombardment of false necessities that the world constantly throws at you. It is at those moments when you feel that you are not enough, when you need something more than what you already possess, when you feel that you are no longer a valuable member of humanity that whole-hearted dedication to the task in front of you will help you come back to your center and effectively balance your thoughts.
“You have experienced this. When you are worried about the things you don’t have and when you start wishing to be anywhere but where you are now, focusing your attention on solving the problems in front of you will focus your mind back to reality. What is the magic in this? How something so simple can calm your anxiety? When you focus on the task at hand and dedicate your efforts into solving the issues that are your responsibility, you are effectively doing what your Father expects you to do. You are living in the moment and the place where your Father has placed you, therefore achieving the purpose of your existence.
“You may ask yourself, how could something so simple be what the Father expects of me? The eternal values are developed through consistency and the constant commitment of your personality to be the best you can be in any situation. In this equation the situation is irrelevant. If you manage to express the best of your being while you perform your job, while you are helping your friends in this world, while you are attending to the needs of your family, or when you are studying to become an active agent in society, you are developing eternal values that will accompany you and be useful during your career at the next levels of your existence.
“But what if your work is unsatisfying or if you are being forced to do something that is not an expression of truth, beauty and goodness? If you perceive your responsibilities as unpleasant the best approach is to do an honest examination to discover the source of your dissatisfaction. With some creativity and love, any activity can become more pleasant; because in everything we do our Father can find a means for expression, as long as that activity is performed with love and with the best intentions.
“If you are being forced to do something that goes against the will of your Father, do everything you can to leave that situation. Remember that there is nothing in this world you need, because you are all born with everything you need to live a fulfilling life. Do not allow the material pressures to make you forget your spiritual needs. Nobody can force others to do something against their will. Your life is in the hands of your Father and nobody can inflict any permanent damage on you. Often human beings become slaves of their own artificial needs and ambitions. Do not let others take advantage of your fears to control you and deprive you of your divine right to freely express your will.
“However, in this world there are some who have been deceived to make them believe that the workings of hate and selfishness are somehow the will of a god that does not love his children equally. These children confused and deceived by others will not be found guilty despite their apparent evil actions. The love of the Father extends to all His children without difference or limits. All mortals will have an opportunity to awaken and to decide their eternal destiny with all the information available.”
