Many people, including myself, like to drink Dr Pepper and now it turns out it not only tastes great, but it might be good for you, too. Elizabeth Sullivan, a longtime fan of the Texas Rangers baseball team, passed away on November 1st, while watching the Houston Astros defeat the Los Angeles Dodger in the 2017 World Series.
Sullivan, 106-years-old, told a reporter recently that after retiring as a school teach she started watching the Texas Rangers play baseball and watched each of their games for the past 15-years. Once, Elizabeth was asked to throw out the first pitch during a Rangers – Mariners game and ever since that day she was a Rangers fan.
Everyone who enjoys drinking Dr Pepper is encouraged to lift a glass and give a toast to Sullivan this weekend. She died watching the Astros win the World Series and I would bet one of the last things she did on this Earth was to take a sip of her favorite soft drink.
