A teacher at Dobie Middle School in northeast Austin has been placed on administrative leave after being charged with having an improper relationship with a student and continuous sexual abuse of a young child. In a letter, Principal Jesse De La Huerta says the school received notice of the allegations on October 31, and the male teacher was immediately placed on leave. Pedro Esteban Rosas-Martinez, a Spanish teacher at Dobie Middle School. Rosas was arrested on November 17 and has been in the Travis County Jail since.
